Alberta Kennel Club - August 4, 2008
We did not move Sizzle up to Specials as we did not want to break the points for the other dogs. But she suprised us by winning best of winners again and out of coat too. Bliss, again, take reserve and Best of Breed puppy, it looks like she will be put away to mature some before coming out again.

Ch Shoreland's A Lil Loopie wins Best of Breed over a group winning bitch!! Way to go Keeloo! Sizzle wins BOW for another 2 points to finish her CH under Judge Ramon Podesta. Bliss wins another reserve winners bitch.

Ch Shoreland's A Lil Loopie wins her first Best of Breed as a Specials. Debern's Tri And Stop Me Now, HIC "Sizzle" wins BOW for 2 points, putting her on 9, only 1 more to go!! And Bliss (Jayhawker's Smokin At Edana, HIC) wins reserve winners bitch over a class of more mature girls.

Shoreland's A Lil Loopie, HIC "Kahlua" wins wb, bow and Best of Breed for 2 points to finish her Canadian Championship under judge Paula Hartinger.
Westwinds Group One Specialty - August 1, 2008
Jayhawker's Bedouin Princess "Sadie" wins a 3 point win by taking winners bitch and best of winners under judge Guy Spagnolo to finish her CH!!! Sadie was guided to her win by Richelle Nelson.
Jayhawker's Lucky Streak "Penny" wins reserve winners bitch. And to top it all Ch Jayhawker's Amazing Grace, FDJ win Best Dam & Progeny in Specialty Show with her two sons, Pete & Tighe.

Evelyn Kenney Kennel & Obedience Club - July 13, 2008
Ch. Islandview Jayhawker Yule Tighe was left down in the classes for his "gravy points" and didn't dissapoint us, he went Winners Dog and Best Opposite Sex under judge Mary White.

Islandview Jayhawker Yule Tighe wins Winners Male, Best of Winners and Best of Breed under Judge Dr. Alvin Krause for a 3 point win. This puts him on 7 points!!

Sharptails Dangerous Dakota wins another Best of Breed (2 points) under judge Rosemary Hubrich. Thank you!!

After a 3 1/2 month absence I had the opportunity show Sharptails Dangerous Dakota. We won our class of two (which also included WD) and went on to win Best of Breed under judge E. Filippini. This is Dakota's first 2 points in CKC. Watch for his first show picture coming soon!!!
Herding Instinct Test - May 24, 2008
Honor, Sizzle, Hope, Spirit and Bliss earn their HIC titles. Sizzle and Spirit will continue on with training in hopes of competing later this year. Bliss would love to as well but we will have to petition CKC to allow it. Thank ou to Tami Butterwick for showing me the ropes and for her expertise in herding!!
Lakes District Kennel Club - May 3 & 4, 2008
On friday evening the LDKC held a CGN test. I want to thank our evaluator Karen Stewart!! Honor will now be known as Can Ch Debern's Wedding Vows CGN!!!!!

Red Deer Kennel Club - April 6, 2008
Tighe (Islandview Jayhawker Yule Tighe) wins his second BOB & BOW this weekend under Judge Dr. Robert Smith. I am really excited about showing Tighe. He is a stunnign boy with a wonderful temperment and personality. Thank you to Jeff, Dorothy and their family for allowing Tighe to come out and play again.
Dreamer wins BOS over a male specials for 1 point under judge Dr. Robert Smith. An awesome start for this boy. He was imported from the US less than a month ago. He is owned by Robbi Spady & Heather Genesis of Prairie Shadow Weimeranars (link on my links page).
Red Deer Kennel Club - April 5, 2008
This weekend was my first showing a Weimeranar. Am Ch. Kick Em Up Midwest Dream'n "Dreamer" wins his first two points by taking BOW and BOS over a male specials!! He was handled by my assistant Richelle Nelson under judge Polly Smith. Thank you Ladies!!
Jayhawker's Bedouin Princess was handled by Richelle this weekend. These girls took BOB & BOW for a nice 2 point win under Judge Polly Smith.

Tighe and I took Best of Breed, Best of Winners under judge Theresa Gallo.

Edana's One More Day "Spirit" wins her first two points under judge Neil Graves!!! I am so proud of her! She was entered only one day just for fun an beats an awesome group of girls.Watch for her picture soon.
Spring CKOC Show - Feb 29 - March 2
This weekend I had the opportunity to show Pete's litter brother. Tighe (Islandview Jayhawker Yule Tighe) is a wonderful boy who I can't wait to show again. We began to click over the weekend and even though there was no other competition we had a blast in the ring. Tighe absolutely loves to please!! Thank you to Jeff & Dorothy Scott for trusting your boy with me!

At the Alberta Kennel Club show, Jayhawker's A View From Saturday "Jessie" takes WB for 3 points to finish her Canadian Championship. All this on her birthday too!! Happy Birthday Jessie, I sure will miss your cuddles around here!! Picture coming soon.
I was thrilled at the chance to show my favorite Brittany boy again. There were 13 Brittanys and Pete (Ch. Jayhawker Smoky Island Repeter) took Best of Breed!! It was amazing! In group Pete and I were pulled along side BIS winning dogs. Unfortunately we were not awarded anything, but the thrill of being there in that caliber of dogs was a dream come true!!

Jayhawker's Boo I Scared Ya "Boo" takes Reserve winners Bitch in a very strong class of girls. I couldn't be prouder of this boucy girl. Once we get those crazies under control there will be no stopping her.
Ch Jayhawker Smoky Island Repeter wins BOB again under judge Thomas Alexander. Thank you sir for not only bestowing us with this win but for awarding Pete's sister Cassie (Ch Islandview Jayhawker Castaway) WB & BOS.

Jayhawker's Boo I Scared Ya "Boo" takes Reserve winners Bitch in a very strong class of girls, AGAIN! Boo you are one crazy girl. Watch for us in a ring near you!!
This past two days I also have had the opportunity to show a stunning male, Sharptail's Dangerous Dakota. Dakota is heading down south for a couple months of field training and I am eagerly awaiting his return to Canada so we can play in the ring again.
