Bishop is my up n coming male. He has a zest for life, finding play in everything he does. Bishop is a fast learner and is willing to please. I entered him in his first Sanction Match on February 6, 2010 held by the Eurasier Club of Canada. Judge Karen Chant awarded Bishop Best of Breed (over two littermates, a 9 month old red merle girl and his father!). As well he took Best of Breed puppy. There were no other herding breeds there so by default he was awarded herding Group 1st and Best Puppy in Group. By the time we got into Best in Sanction Match he was very tired. We didn't win but I am over the moon with Bishop. He is everything I was attempting to accomplish with this breeding. I am so excited to see what the future holds!!
July 2, 2010 at the Vernon & District Kennel Club Bishop won a 2 point major by taking Best of Winners, Best of Breed as well as Best Puppy in Breed. He beat his mother and littermate brother, Baron. I was on cloud nine!! Thank you to judge Mr. K Kaemling.

I know I know I didn't stack his back end properly but seriously it took a lot for him to stand still with all the toy throwing!!
July 3, 2010 - VDKC - Bishop wins WM for 1 point under judge Mr F Van der Spuy.
August 24, 2010 - WKKC - Winners Male for 1 point under judge Valerie Gervais
August 25, 2010 - WKKC - Winners Male for 1 point under judge Charlie Hunt
August 26, 2010 - WKKC - Winners Male & Best of Winners for 2 points under judge Robert Verhulst
August 26, 2010 - WKKC - Winners Male & Best of Winners for 2 points under judge Shelia Verhulst

2011 we will be focusing on finishing Bishop's Canadian Championship and we also will be pursuing Rally-O and stock titles. Bishop has shown great promise in both and enjoy's them equally as well.
Well we did it!! My dream of having bred a Canadian Champion has come true. Thank you Jaime Bolduc of Chic Handling for taking Bishop to Dartmouth, NS. And of course thank you to Judge Janet Buchanan for awarding my boy his last point towards his Championship. Picture to come soon!!
His first weekend out as a Specials has garnered three Group 2nds and a Group 3rd!! WOW I don't think I will be down from this cloud for awhile!

Bishop winning his first group placements as a Specials under judges Kristen Francis (Group 2nd) and Mary White (Group 3rd)
On August 6th 2011 Bishop and I entered (with a lot of trepidation) our first CGN. I was so nervous about his down stay as his mom had recently come into heat and he lost all concept of listening. I should have saved those grey hairs as he did AWESOME. I am so proud to add the CGN title to the end of his name. Next on the block enter our first Rally-O trial. Hoping that we will be ready for October!!
