The first time I saw this little girl I knew we were meant to be together. She was at Debbie Moraes (Debern Australian Shepherds) in a pen with her siblings. I knelt down to pet them and immediately saw a blue-eyed baby. I cuddled with her for close to an hour and then had to leave to drive home. Normally puppies/aussies catch my eye and admiration but this little girl caught my heart too!! Two days after I got back home I sent an e-mail to Debbie asking "Hypothetically speaking.... How long would you keep a puppy for a customer?" Knowing damn well that she would keep it as long as needed!! I picked the name Honor long time ago when I was thinking of names for Justice. One look at Honor and I knew that was her name and that she was as beautiful as a bride. Hence the name Debern's Wedding Vows. Which also works because in the wedding vows is the phrase "I promise to honor and cherish..."

Honor is a multiple Best Puppy in Breed winner. She has also taken a Best Opposite Sex and numerous class firsts. I am very please with my little princess. She is everything I have ever wanted her to be!

Honor finished her Canadian Championship on May 1, 2004 under distinguished judge Bud Haverstock. Thank you Mr. Haverstock!!

Honor is our love muffin couch potato. No matter what age of child she meets she is a total angel. But two kids hold a special place in her heart. Our son Devlin loves cuddling with Honor. Honor sleeps with our daughter during her naps and is always following her around the house!

May 23, 2008 Honor earned her HIC title under CKC herding judge Tami Butterwick. Tami wrote "Very nice dog lots of instinct suitable to move onto CKC trials, work on balance. Great herding prospect! Good job." Honor and I sorted and moved sheep in the pens all day for others to work. She is very dependable and loves to drive the sheep into the holding pens and then into the arena. I am so pround of her. She will be 9 this year and has earned two titles in less than 30 days!!
