It has been a long time dream to have a red in my house. When I happened upon a picture of this cute little classy girl I think it was love at first sight. The calls were made and one beautiful day in September I collected a ball of fluff from the airport. When I opened her crate I was faced with a very vigorus face washing. I do not think her bum has stopped wiggling since coming home.
Scandal is amazing, she takes everything in stride. She is often found playing with Bliss and has befriended Honor as well. Not an easy task in itself.

Scandal has been in the show ring a few times but her true love is flyball!!! She has a tremendous prey drive (ie toy drive, especially pop bottles and balls). So at 8 months old we tried flyball. She is a natural!! Here is a video of Scandal at 8 months old with only one set of classes under her belt. She was to compete in her first flyball tournament but came into heat the week prior so couldn't compete. We are looking forward to competing in 2010. She is also going to begin herding training as both her parents are working farm dogs with natural instinct.
