Pedigree

Spirit was the first born out of our second litter. She is almost identical to her mother Honor and her go gettum attitude reminds me of her auntie Justice. When she was born Trynity had nicknamed her Kiwi but when her personality started to mimc Justice I knew I had to name her Spirit. Spirit (or Spee for short) is very biddable with tons of attitude. She learns very quickly and has already mastered opening cupboard doors.

Spirit often goes to work with her human momma and has no fear of the pneumatic air guns or saws. She does however know to stay away from the forklift. 

Spirit is very correct, not only in structure, but movement and temperment as well. She is enjoying living the life of luxury with planty of love from her older sister and can often be found trailing her around the yard.

Spirit wins her first two points April 4, 2008 under judge Neil Graves. Not bad for only entering her so that I could bring Bliss and show them off. I am super proud of my girl.
Spirit and I travelled to Stettler for a herding instinct test. She earned her HIC title with flying colors. Tami Butterwick wrote "Very nice dog lots of confidence and presence. Really nice dog carry on with her training. Hope to see you in CKC herding!! Super dog!!". So with that we will begin her herding training and hopefully attend some herding events in the future!

Spirit was bred for her first litter in 2009.  She presented us with 8 wonderful puppies on Dec 4/09.  3 Blue boys, 2 black boys, 2 black girls and one blue girl.  Of those puppies, 5 are in confirmation/show homes, one is on a farm working livestock, one is a beloved pet and one is still looking for his forever home.  To see more of the pups please visit their page HERE

Spirit is now sitting on 6 points after winning Best of Breed (& BOW) under Judge Mr F Van der Spuy at the Vernon & District Kennel Club on July 3, 2010.
