Turbo comes to us from Jaime & Calvin Bolduc of InStyle Kennels in Deloraine, MB. Having looked at different breeds to add to our family we kept going back to the SFT. The dog had to be hearty enough to play with the Aussies, not have profuse coat (minimal grooming) and if it was a table dog then the kids would have to be able to lift the pup with no problems. We got that and more with Turbo.

Turbo loves to play with the Aussies, Bishop will roll onto his back and Turbo will bounce on him and then the war is on!! We are working on leash manners right now (racing to the end of the leash is a BLAST!) and are anticipating on his conformation debut this August.

Holy Cow!!! What a debut, I couldn't have asked for a better weekend. At just 6 months and 2 days old, Turbo wins a puppy group under Edgar Bajona and a group 4th and another puppy group that afternoon under judge Terry Carter for his first point!! Later that weekend on the sunday Turbo wins yet another BPIG under judge Elaine Whitney!! We floated home from Cranbrook with many more shows in this dynamo's future. Turbo's second weekend out he takes breed over the #3 SFT in Canada, who also happens to be his nephew! As the weekend wore on Turbo won WM & BOBp all but once (his littermate brother won). He is now sitting on 7 points in 2 weekends of showing and is #2 SFT puppy in Canada!!

Seeing how he loves to show we decided he needed to get a taste of American soil and sent him to the Montgomery cluster. Turbo consistantly placed in his class and with a bit more under his belt he should do better next year!

October 27, 2011 ~ BC All Terrier Club - Turbo wins Best Puppy in Breed at his first specialty show under well known judge Mrs. Betsy Dale! Thank you Mrs. Dale for this wonderful honor.

October 28, 2011 at Lower Mainland Dog Fanciers (Tradex - the largest show in Canada) Turbo won WM, BOW and BOBp for a 2 point win under respected Russian judge Yerusalimskaya. This lands our handsome man solidly on 9 points. He was handled by Kate & Jaime McKee of Armstrong BC.

October 29, 2011 (Tradex) under Swedish judge Mr Carl-Gunnar Stafberg Turbo won WM, BOW and BOBp again for another 2 point win to finish his Canadian Championship!!!! I am sure our neighbour thought we lost our minds, screaming dancing and hugging each other. His Championship photo is on its way!!

November 26, 2011 ~ WOW!!! At his first weekend as a Specials Turbo won his second group 4th, this time under Mr R Velhurst with Kate McKee expertly handling my boy to this win!!

Turbo is Canada's #12 Smooth Fox Terrier and #2 Smooth Fox Terrier puppy for 2011!!! With 2 group 4th and 4 Puppy Group placements under International and All Breed Judges alike!! Thank you to Jaime & Calvin Bolduc for the opportunity to co-own Turbster and to Jamie and Kate McKee for handling my boy when I was unable to!!
